Our story Beta

Built by a racer
for every racer

DriverBio was born on a karting track in 2024, when our founder realised that years of hard work, lap records, and race results simply didn't exist anywhere a scout or team manager could find them. We're fixing that.

Why we exist

Your results disappear.
Your career shouldn't.

You train for years. You podium at regional championships. You work your way into a professional series. And then a team manager Googles your name — and finds nothing. No results. No history. No proof you exist as a driver.

That's the reality for almost every grassroots and semi-professional racer today. The sport generates incredible data, but none of it is stored in a way that's useful to the people who need to make decisions about you. DriverBio changes that.

Build your driver profile

"I had three podiums in the Rotax Max series and a season in a professional kart league — none of it existed online in any usable form. That was the moment I knew we had to build this."

Kovalchuk — Founder

The problems we solve

Invisible to scouts & teams Race results live on PDFs and old forum posts. There's no searchable driver database teams can actually use.
No structured career record Lap times in notebooks, championship tables behind federation paywalls, logbooks that get lost between seasons.
Nothing to share with sponsors When a brand asks for your racing CV, you send a Word document. That's not the impression you want to make.

How we think

Three things we care about most

01

Driver first, always

Every decision starts with the athlete. Not the team manager, not the federation, not the sponsor — the person doing the driving. If it doesn't make a racer's life easier, we don't build it.

02

Data you can trust

We verify track records, cross-reference official results, and never publish guesses. A driver's profile on DriverBio is something a professional team can rely on, not a social media post.

03

Your data, your control

You choose what's public, what's private, and who can see what. You can export everything at any time. We'll never lock your own history away from you.

How it started

From the first lap to founding a company

DriverBio didn't start in an office. It started with a stopwatch, a rental kart, and a problem nobody had built a solution for.

Now

Building in beta, with real drivers

The product is live in private beta. 1,200+ tracks indexed across 18 countries. The first drivers are building their profiles. We're talking to teams, series, and federations. Everything is still being shaped — and the people who join now get to shape it with us.

DriverBio is founded

Kovalchuk brings in a co-founder (CTO) and Roman Chornovol (CMO). The three start building what should have existed already: a structured, public, professional profile for every racing driver — from club level to the top series. DriverBio is incorporated.

The wall nobody warned about

Results are strong. But when approaching teams and sponsors for support, there's a problem: nothing exists. No searchable profile. No shareable results page. Championship tables locked behind federation PDFs. A sponsor asks for a "racing CV" — the only option is a Word document with screenshots. The system is broken.

The problem is found
Early 2025

Stepping into a professional series

Less than a year after the first practice session, Kovalchuk qualifies for a regional professional karting series. The jump is steep — better equipment, faster drivers, more structure. But the pace is there.

Pro series entry
Late 2024

First club championship entry

Six months in, the progression is undeniable. Kovalchuk enters his first official club championship. A podium in the third race. Three more in the following rounds. Coaches and fellow drivers start to take notice.

First podium
Early 2024

First laps on a rental kart

Kovalchuk gets behind the wheel of a rental kart for the first time. What starts as a weekend hobby becomes an obsession within months — tracking every session, studying every sector, pushing to get faster every weekend.

Questions

Frequently asked

What exactly is DriverBio? +
DriverBio is a professional profile platform for racing drivers. You build a structured, public page that shows your full career — championship results, track records, series history, best lap times — in a format that's actually useful to teams, scouts, and sponsors. Think of it as your racing CV, but live and verifiable.
Is it free? +
During beta, yes — completely free. We're focused on building the right product with real drivers before we think about pricing. Everyone who joins the beta will get fair notice before any paid tier is introduced, and the core driver profile will always have a free version.
Who is DriverBio for? +
Any racing driver who wants to be taken seriously — from club-level kart racers to drivers competing in regional professional series. If you have results worth showing and people who should be able to find them, DriverBio is for you. We're starting with karting and expanding from there.
How do you verify results and track data? +
Track data is manually verified against official federation records and direct contact with track operators. For driver results, we cross-reference official series results where available. Drivers can also upload their own documentation, which is clearly marked as self-reported. We never publish unverified data as fact.
Can I control what's visible on my profile? +
Yes, fully. You choose which results are public, which are private, and who gets access to detailed performance data. You can also export everything you've uploaded or logged at any time. Your data belongs to you.
